Martini, Inc. has operated in accordance with the Company’s Mission Statement of providing exceptional customer service with reasonably priced local and regional dry van transportation in the area bordered by the Ohio River Valley and the Atlantic Seaboard.
Martini Inc. requires a minimum of one year road experience. We have dry van opportunities for both local drivers, runs within a radius of 300 miles of the company terminal in Drums, PA, and for road/regional drivers that require you to leave out on Sunday nights and return on Friday.
Our modern truck fleet, our oldest truck model year is 2005, is well maintained by our in-house service department. Martini, Inc. can offer our customers dedicated and regional solutions.
Local drivers run within a 300-mile radius of our terminal, which is located in Drums, PA; near the intersection of I-80 & I-81. Local drivers do some Long Island, New York driving. We tell you this upfront, since we certainly understand that there are those drivers who will not drive in NYC.
All Company drivers are included in Martini, Inc.’s benefit programs, including Company subsidized premiums on health care insurance, 401K Retirement Program, Company paid life insurance policy and annual paid vacations and holidays.
OTR drivers run a regional area, roughly from NJ to OH, and from upstate NY to the Carolinas. One of our biggest customers is Miller Beer, in Eden, NC. We haul some other general freight to keep our drivers moving. Drivers are normally scheduled out Sunday evening and return Friday evening that allows them to be home every weekend. You may even have the chance to stop at your home during the week depending on where you’re running. We have an in house logistics division that helps us maintain driver friendly freight.
Drivers are eligible for medical insurance after 45 days and 401K after six months. Drivers receive a company paid life insurance policy for $10,000 after 45 days. In addition, eligible drivers accumulate paid vacation and personal days and have seven paid holidays per year.
Owner-Operators are paid a base mileage rate of $.82/mile for ALL DISPATCHED MILES. The company uses PC Miller Practical miles in determining mileage. There is an added mileage incentive bonus based on the miles you run per week: if you run between 2700 & 2999 miles, you will receive an additional $.02 for all dispatched miles, if you run 3000 miles, you will receive an additional $.01 for all dispatched miles, loaded or empty.
We offer all Owner-Operators a Comdata card for fueling and cash advances, also on this card is a phone option to be used for business only, all other charges will be deducted from the weekly settlement, fuel, oil, tires etc.
